About Naomi
Naomi is a screenwriter / director / actor based in Los Angeles, CA. In her former life, she was an English teacher in Boston with a dream of becoming a storyteller. Determined not to live with regrets, she launched her TV/Film career in New York City, where she was a Location Assistant on network TV shows and indie films. Upon moving back to her hometown LA, she furthered her experience in the industry by working at talent agencies, production companies, and indie projects. She pursued these while also studying screenwriting and acting. “Detour” is the first short film that she wrote, directed, and produced.
